How to Uninstall Riot Vanguard

The main hurdle preventing Valorant from being uninstalled is Riot Vanguard, its anti-cheat program. Remove this before attempting to delete Valorant from your computer. Before you remove the game, make sure you end both applications. Once you exit Valorant, follow the following steps:

Step 1: Locate the Riot Vanguard icon in the system tray on your Taskbar

Step 3: Hit Enter after typing “sc delete vgk”. This gets Valorant out of your computer.

Step 2: The second step (for Windows 10) is to find Riot Vanguard and choose “Uninstall.”

Step 3: Locate Riot Vanguard (if using Windows 11), click the three vertical dots that are adjacent to it, and select “Uninstall.” Proceed with Valorant in the same manner.

Step 1: To launch the task manager, right-click on the bottom bar and choose “Task Manager.”
