NRG just broke the Valorant community. Their newly revealed roster for the 2024 Valorant season has got all the fans talking.

Earlier this year, Pujan “FNS” Mehta and Sam “s0m” announced their departure from NRG. Meanwhile, Ardis “ardiis” Svarenieks was bought out by Na’Vi, leaving 3 spots open.

Throughout the off-season, fans kept speculating about the roster’s future within the community, however, there were no leaks regarding the org’s plans.

Yesterday, NRG finally broke their silence and took to Twitter to reveal their VCT 2024 roster. To sum it all up – they cooked.

Austin “crashies” Roberts and Victor “Victor” Wong will reprise their roles in the team and joining them will be their former Optic Gaming team-mate Jimmy “Marved” Nguyen.

Furthermore, last year’s VCT Champions winner and former Evil Geniuses roster mates Ethan “Ethan” Arnold and Max “Demon1” Mazanov have also joined the roster.

The new recruits took to their respective Twitter handles to react to the announcement.

Marved said that he will watch his back against Coach Chet “Chet” Singh. The two have a running banter where Marved accuses Chet of dropping him when the OPTIC roster moved to NRG.

Meanwhile, this will be Ethan’s third run in NRG. The current best support player in the world hopes that the third time will be the charm for him.

The New King of Hell Demon1 is not a man of many words (at least on Twitter) and so he reacted in a rather modest fashion.

All in all, this roster is unanimously being seen as a top contender to win everything next year. It’s safe to say that the 2024 VCT season is shaping up to be one for the history books.
