Sony has announced May 2024’s free games for PlayStation Plus all of which will be playable on May 7. If you are a PS plus subscriber and haven’t claimed last month’s free games you have got time till next Tuesday.
The announced PS Plus games for May 2024 are EA Sports FC 24, Ghostrunner 2, Tunic, and Destiny 2: Lightfall. Especially, the Destiny 2: Lightfall DLC is a very valuable offering in this month’s line up of free PS Plus games, a nice treat for the fans of the FPS game while they wait for The Final Shape.

EA Sports FC 24
EA Sports FC 24 is still currently the latest in the FIFA series to be released, with 25 coming later this year. Now is a great time to check it out, as the game is currently in the midst of it’s annual Team of The Season event. FC 24’s TOTS is currently scheduled to deliver 7 weeks of football in the game’s ultra popular Ultimate Team mode according to leaks we’ve received. FC 24 will also be available for longer in the Playstation Plus free games than other entries on the list, as it will be available until June 17th according to the official Playstation Blog.
Ghostrunner 2
Ghostrunner 2 is another fairly recent release to be added to the Playstation Plus May 2024 free games. Released near the end of October 2023, the high-adrenaline sequel is an action packed adventure that taps into the mentality of old-school gaming to deliver an ultra satisfying experience that pushes you to constantly improve your skills to master it. The much loved game has received extremely favourable reviews from critics and players, delivering on the hype from the near-universal praise of the first Ghostrunner game. You definitely don’t want to miss picking up this entry.
Tunic
Tunic is a wonderful modern game inspired by the legendary classic Zelda. Set in a ruined fantasy world, the player controls an anthromorpic fox (That wears a Tunic, of course.) on a riveting action-adventure journey to free a fox spirit trapped in a crystal.
Destiny 2: Lightfall
The final Playstation Plus Free Game to round out May 2024’s selection is Destiny 2: Lightfall. Next month, Destiny 2 will release it’s next major expansion, The Final Shape. Lightfall is the penultimate entry into the series’ Light and Darkness saga. With a month to pick it up for free before The Final Shape releases, it gives users yet to play it a good opportunity to enjoy the penultimate chapter before the final entry in Destiny 2’s Light and Darkness series arrives on June 4th 2024.
With the exception of FC 24’s availability lasting until June 17th, the other three entries on this May 2024’s PS Plus Free Games list will be available until June 3rd.
